Sukhada Wagle is an alumnus of Government Law College as well as Mumbai University from where she has obtained her LL.M. in constitutional and administrative law. She is also a Solicitor registered with the Bombay Incorporated Law Society. She has an experience of over more than a decade in handling Civil, Commercial and Criminal Litigation with a particular focus on real estate and general commercial disputes.
Her practise comprises over a wide range and variety of matters pertaining to disputes in areas such as commercial and construction contracts, real estate transactions, insolvency, testamentary and intestate succession. She also advises and represents clients in many arbitrations involving commercial contracts and various writ petitions against several State authorities, Corporations, local bodies and quasi-judicial authorities. She also handles matters pertaining to white collar crime and related Criminal litigation. Over the years, her practise area has expanded to the petroleum and pharmaceutical industry related litigations. She has actively participated and appeared before various fora such as High Courts, Supreme Court, National Company Law Tribunal, City Civil and Sessions Court, Consumer Forums, various District Courts and quasi-judicial authorities. She has acted for various business conglomerates as well as individual clients in connection with commercial disputes including pre-litigation strategy and advise.
