Key Responsibilities

Advise clients on real estate transactions from initial acquisition or investment through development, leasing, financing, and exit.
Handle corporate real estate investments, joint ventures, and development arrangements.
Conduct title investigations and due diligence for land and real estate assets across India, including coordination with local counsel.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of real estate documentation, including:
Sale and conveyance documents
Development and joint‑venture agreements
Lease and license agreements
Hotel operation and management agreements
Investment and exit documentation
Advise on land use, development laws, and regulatory issues applicable to real estate projects.
Support domestic and offshore clients investing in Indian real estate ventures.
Independently manage client interactions and transaction timelines.
Supervise junior associates and contribute to team development.

Candidate Profile

B. degree from a recognized university (3‑year or 5‑year course).
Enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
4–7 years of focused experience in real estate advisory and transactions.
Experience advising on large land acquisitions, development projects, leasing, and real estate investments is preferred.
Ability to work independently on complex matters with minimal supervision.

Role Overview

We are seeking a high‑performing Corporate Law Associate (2 to 4 PQE) to join our corporate practice. The role is suited for candidates with strong transactional exposure and the ability to deliver quality legal work under demanding timelines. The Associate will work closely with partners on complex, high‑value domestic and cross‑border transactions.

Core Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate complex corporate and transactional documents, such as Shareholders’ Agreements, Share Purchase Agreements, Share Subscription Agreements Investment Agreements
Play an active role in M&A, private equity, and venture capital transactions, including assisting the partners in deal structuring, negotiations, and closing of the transactions.
Assist in conducting legal due diligence exercises, for identification of legal and transactional issues
Research and drafting of legal opinions involving regulatory issues, under the Companies Act, 2013, SEBI regulations and FEMA regulations
Interact with clients independently on assigned matters, including responding to queries and managing expectations.
Work closely with partners on transaction strategy, execution, and problem‑solving.
Contribute to internal knowledge development.

Candidate Profile

LL.B. from a leading law school in India
Enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
2 to 4 years of focused corporate law experience at a Tier 1 law firm or a reputed boutique law firm, or a high-quality in-house legal team.

Private Equity & Venture Capital

General Corporate & Advisory

Advising clients on general corporate matters, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and restructuring projects (mergers, demergers, and spin-offs).
Supporting inbound and outbound investments and cross-border advisory work.
Assisting in corporate restructuring and strategic planning exercises for several clients.

Private Client & Wealth Structuring (Exposure Preferred)

Advising on corporate and legal aspects of private client matters for Indian and non-resident families with global assets.
Coordinating with professionals across jurisdictions to deliver integrated solutions where required.

Client Management

Interacting independently with clients, advisors, and external counsel.
Contributing to business development initiatives and knowledge-building within the practice.

The role involves handling complex civil, criminal, and regulatory disputes for a diverse clientele including multinational corporations, professional organizations, high-profile individuals, and domestic entities. The position offers extensive exposure to matters before courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities across India, as well as domestic and international arbitrations.

Key Responsibilities

Representing and advising clients in civil and criminal litigation, including white collar and regulatory matters.
Appearing before various forums including the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, NCLT, SEBI, SAT, Sessions Courts, Magistrates’ Courts, Enforcement Directorate, Consumer Forums, and other judicial and quasi-judicial bodies.
Drafting pleadings, applications, written submissions, appeals, and legal opinions.
Managing litigation matters end-to-end, including strategy formulation, briefing counsel, court appearances, and client coordination.
Advising and assisting in domestic arbitrations and international commercial arbitrations governed by diverse legal frameworks.
Supervising junior associates and ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness of work product.
