Veritas Legal advised Saarathi Finance in INR 475 crore Series A fundraise

Saarathi Finance and Credit Private Limited raised INR 475 crore from a Series A fundraise co-led by TVS Capital Funds, Lok Capital, Evolvence India, and Paragon Partners, with institutional investors contributing ₹350 crore and the balance infused by the founders.

Veritas Legal acted for and advised Saarathi Finance on this fundraise. The Firm provided assistance in connection with the vendor legal due diligence, and drafting, negotiating and finalization of the transaction documents including Securities Subscription Agreements, Shareholders’ Agreement, and the Promoter Employment Agreements, as well as assistance with closing.

Saarathi Finance and Credit Private Limited is a newly licensed Greenfield Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC), engaged in technology-driven solutions with personalised customer engagement, offering both secured and unsecured loans tailored to the unique needs of MSME. Saarathi aims to bridge the credit gap for MSMEs, particularly in rural and semi-urban India, offering secured and unsecured loans tailored to underserved entrepreneurs.

The funds will support expansion across states including Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh.
