Veritas Legal advises MIRC Electronics on INR 150 crore fundraise

MIRC Electronics Limited, the company behind Onida, has raised approximately ₹149.52 crore through a preferential allotment to Authum Investment and Infrastructure Limited and other investors.

Veritas Legal acted for and advised MIRC Electronics on this fundraise. The Firm provided assistance in strategic advisory, transaction documentation throughout the transaction.

The transaction team was led by Sneha Nagvekar (Partner), with support from Avadhoot Potnis (Principal Associate) .

MIRC Electronics is an Indian company founded in 1981 that manufactures and trades consumer electronics and home appliances under the brand name Onida. The company’s product line includes televisions, air conditioners, washing machines, and other home appliances.
