Shubhangi specialises in Mergers and Acquisitions, Private Equity investments and General Corporate advisory, with a keen focus on the insurance industry. Over the course of her career spanning almost 15 years, Shubhangi has advised clients across sectors on various domestic and cross-border transactions. Shubhangi has extensive experience in the insurance space and has advised Reinsurers, Insurers, and Insurance Intermediaries on various corporate and regulatory matters, including, fund raises, structuring of shareholding and businesses, establishing a presence in India, acquiring a license from the insurance regulator and other on-going regulatory issues. She has also acted for Indian promoters, foreign investors and PE Funds on insurance-related transactions.

Shubhangi has been recognised as a Notable Insurance Practitioner by Legal 500, Asia-Pacific (2019) and as a “Recommended Lawyer” by Legal 500, Asia-Pacific (2020). She has also been recognised by India Business Law Journal in the 2018 and 2022 editions.
